Join Moray Firth Wildlife Boat Trips and Dolphin Watching Boat Trips | North East Sea Adventures Banff for an exhilarating tour of the Moray Firth and Banffshire coastline and a fantastic wildlife watching experience including Wildli and Dolphin Watching Boat Trips.

Each voyage is different – we guarantee a fun and safe trip, plus a blast of fresh, sea air – the rest depends on sea conditions and the wildlife! Just bring your sense of adventure...

Location and Departures
Based at Banff Harbour, North East Sea Adventures is ideally located to explore the best the Moray Firth has to offer, and trips may depart from various harbours along the Banffshire Coast (please phone for details).

Banff is easy to find, just 1 hour’s drive north of Aberdeen along the A947, or 1.5 hours' drive east of Inverness.

Local Wildlife
The Moray Firth is a Special Area of Conservation, home to an amazing variety of marine life. The RSPB reserve at Troup Head boasts mainland Scotland’s only gannet colony and there are opportunities to see thousands of seabirds including gannets, guillemots, puffins, fulmars and kittiwakes.

Encounters with the resident bottlenose dolphins, porpoises and grey and common seals are possible year round. Summer visitors to the Firth include minke whales and the occasional basking shark!

Scenery
Fast and manoeuvrable, our rib is able to explore a large range of this, one of Scotland's finest stretches of coastline, with spectacular cliffs, stacks, natural arches, caves, coves and secluded bays.

Trips also take in the beautiful traditional fishing villages of Gardenstown, Crovie and Pennan, the working harbour of Macduff, historical Banff and Portsoy harbours and the dramatic ruins of 13th century Findlater Castle.
